Rates and Insurance

Rates:

 

All fees will be discussed during our initial consultation.  The initial consultation is a complimentary brief telephone consultation.

Payment:

 

Payment is due at time of service. This includes copays, remaining deductibles as applied to your plan.
I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
To provide the easiest billing option, I offer elective automatic billing.

Insurance:

 

Presently, I am a provider for:

• NYSHIP-Carilion Behavioral Health

• Cigna and Evernorth

• Empire - Blue Cross Blue Shield

• Optum

• Oscar Health

• UMH

• United Health Care

 

Out of network

If I am not in network with your insurance plan, I can help you explore your plan’s out of network benefits as many individuals find they can receive substantial insurance coverage through reimbursement for my services as their out of network provider.

During our initial consultation, we can address your concerns about using your in and out of network benefits for my services with me together. We can also discuss other concerns you may have about fees and payment at that session.

Cancelations:

 

Your scheduled appointment is a time reserved for you and you alone. It cannot be shared with another person. There is no charge for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made after 48 hours of your scheduled appointment may be charged the full session rate.

Please note: Insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions. You are responsible for the entire cost of the session, not just a copay or usual percentage.
